CMS Enviro Systems operates a very efficient and cost saving 24 hour Emergency call out and pro active repair and maintenance division from both its sites, in Cumbernauld - which covers from the Borders to Stirlingshire, and Glenrothes - which provides the service from Stirlingshire to Invernesshire.

North Glasgow Housing association, Maryhill Housing association, Scottish Water and East Dunbartonshire Council are just a few examples of Companies already using this service.

The window engineer would obtain a customer signature from the tenant upon completion of the scheduled visit or future work arising from the visit.

CMS use tailor made software which enables jobs to be logged on a central database and sent to the engineer electronically. This means the engineer can have the details of a job minutes after it has been registered in the system.

Since implementing the software we have significantly reduced the amount of fuel our engineers use as they don't have to travel to the head office to obtain work tickets which also means they have more time to attend to service calls.

Our existing engineers stay approximately 20 miles form our head office which means a round trip saving of 40 miles per day. This equates to a reduction of 3.6 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year (based on a 50 week calculation) for each engineer.

In addition, the system has reduced the amount of paper we use and as all details, including signatures, are held electronically reporting capabilities are extensive.
