Residential Doors

The CMS residential door range can be produced in a wide range of styles and finishes. (See also data sheets on French, Composite and Patio Doors). Doors can be outward or inward opening and come with a variety of thresholds and cill designs. U values down to 1.6W/m2Kcan be achieved to meet Part L of the Building Regulations. CMS residential doors are compatible with other CMS window and curtain walling systems.

Thresholds A full range of low-level thresholds is available which comply with Part M of the Building Regulations.

Composition

Sections extruded from lead-free calcium organic impact modified PVCcomplying with BS EN 12608.

Appearance

A smooth surfacein white or various colours and woodgrains with either an outward or inward opening facility. Doors can be either glazed with safety glass or thermally insulated panels. Low threshold options are also available, including wheelchair thresholds.

Size

Doors are manufactured to customer specification. Maximum recommended size for individual doors is 1000mmW x 2300mmH. For all queries regarding size, range, design and function please contact us.

Fittings and Hardware

A wide range of door locking mechanisms is available including dead bolts, locking tongues/bolts, anti jamming devices. Reinforcing

Reinforcing is to be applied in accordance with the relevant CMS manufacturing manual.

Maintenance

The mechanism should be kept free of debris and sprayed with a lubricant/ protective coating at six-monthly intervals. Should adjustment be required, refer to separate maintenance manual.

Security and Weathertightness

CMS 7000 has full accreditation to the door performance standard PAS 023 and the security standard PAS 024.

Weatherseals and Gaskets

Both CMS 6000 and 7000 come with fully co-extruded weatherseals and gaskets which arewelded at the corners to give exceptional weathertightness.
