Background
Situated on the edge of Holy Rood Park, against a backdrop of Arthur's Seat, the project to build the new 1200 capacity Holyrood High School began in October 2007 and was completed in July 2009.
Brief
CMS were contracted by Laing O'Rourke to design, manufacture and install external and internal glazing works, consisting of; Secured by Design aluminium pivot windows, doors, curtain walling, aluminium acoustic internal screens, timber acoustic and fire rated screens.
Systems
Senior Aluminium SMR900, SPW300, SD & SFG systems & secure by design pivot windows. Hardwood beech timber screens, 'Coolite' Low 'E' glass, Pilkington 60/60 'Pyrostop', Saint Gobain 'stadip silence' .
