Background
As part of the University of Glasgow refurbishment programme, CMS Enviro Systems Ltd were appointed by Taylor & Fraser Ltd to complete the library north annexe extension.

Brief
CMS were contracted to complete the University of Glasgow Library level 3 North Annexe Learning Cafe extension within the time constraints and before the new academic year began in October 2009. The extension is part of the main library building which lies adjacent to University Avenue.

Systems
The scope of work included using Schuco FW50+ Curtain walling to vertical facades to East, West and North elevations. Schuco AWS 65 insert doors and Schuco FW50+ Curtain walling to sloped Rooflight glazing to roof.
